AB1Scope is an Android application for viewing Sanger sequencing AB1 chromatograms. This Privacy Policy explains how AB1Scope accesses and handles data when you use the app.

2. Data accessed by the app

AB1Scope accesses AB1 files only when you choose files for viewing. The app reads the selected files locally on your Android device in order to display chromatograms, base calls, and related information.

3. Data collection and transmission

AB1Scope does not collect or transmit personal information, sequencing data, AB1 file contents, device identifiers, usage data, or analytics data to the developer or to third parties.

Selected AB1 files are processed locally on your device and are not uploaded to a developer-operated server.

4. Advertising, analytics, and tracking

AB1Scope does not include advertising services, analytics services, or third-party tracking services.

5. Internet access

An internet connection is not required for AB1Scope's core AB1 viewing functionality. Distribution platforms such as Google Play may independently process information according to their own privacy policies; such processing is outside the operation of AB1Scope itself.

6. Data retention and deletion

The developer does not retain user AB1 files, sequencing data, or personal information because AB1Scope does not upload or collect those data. Files selected in AB1Scope remain under the user's control on the device.

7. Data sharing

AB1Scope does not sell, rent, or share user data or sequencing data with third parties.

8. Children

AB1Scope is a scientific utility and is not specifically designed for or directed to children.
